Spencer, IA - The Spencer Tigers were on the road at
Emmetsburg Friday night and the game started with the ball taking a friendly
bounce for the Tigers.
The Spencer Tigers took to Dale Norton Field in Spencer for
their home opener Friday night for the first game of the season
against the Spirit Lake Indians. It would turn out to be a tough one for the
Tigers as Spencer lost 25-6.
The Spencer Tiger baseball team made a strong comeback effort in last night’s Class 3A District 2 final against StormLake but ran out of steam in the late innings losing 11-7 in StormLake.

score 11 runs beating Bishop Garrigan 11-4 at home Thursday for the Tiger’s
third win in a row.

Tigers had it all to do in the second half of last night’s substate class 2A
match, searching for two equalizers the entirety of the half, but could only
cut the lead in half eventually losing 2-1.
Spencer, IA – The Spencer Tigers Girls’ soccer team scored three goals
in the second half on Monday night at the Spencer soccer complex to win
on senior night against Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji.
