(Northwest Iowa) -- An 18 year old Estherville woman died in a traffic accident near Graettinger Thursday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says Deborah Wiedeman was Northhbound on highway 4, four miles North of highway 18. She lost control of her vehicle, crossed the center line, and ran into a semi and grain trailer driven by 45 year old Todd Travis of Mallard.
Both vehicles were forced into the East ditch. Travis was transported by a private vehicle to Palo Alto county hospital with possible injuries.
Trooper Tom Steinkamp says the accident occurred yesterday morning at about 7:30.
