Tuesday, November 17, 2009, KICD took down the old tower and retrieved the Time Capsule that was planted in the base insulator.  The capsule was buried on April 12, 1966.  Past and present staff members gathered at the station to open the capsule to see what was in it.  Here are the pictures from the historic event...
