Rocker Johnny Rzeznik has wed his longtime girlfriend in a romantic ceremony in California.

The Goo Goo Dolls frontman exchanged vows with Melina Gallo on Friday at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, where the singer’s bandmates were among the 120 guests in attendance.

Rzeznik tells People.com, “The whole thing was just about family and friends. It was really beautiful and romantic.”

The couple, which began dating in 2005, is planning to honeymoon in Italy and France once the rocker wraps up his touring commitments with the group this autumn, and Rzeznik admits he’s keen to start a family sooner rather than later.

The 47 year old says, “We’ll start with one (child) and deal with it from there.”

It is the second union for Rzeznik – he split from his first wife, former model Laurie Farinacci, in 1997 after four years of marriage.
