Suspicious Vehicle Arrest


Emmetsburg, IA (KICD) — Authorities arrest three after checking out a suspicious vehicle.

The Palo Alto County Sheriffs Office said Saturday night, they checked out the vehicle, on Burns Road. After investigation, 22-year old Cal Tabat of Humboldt was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Consumption of Alcohol in a Public Place.

18-year old Vance Yates III was arrested on charges of Violation of a Protective Order, and a 17-year old male was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Tabat and Yates were booked into jail awaiting a court appearance, while the juvenile was cited into juvenile court and released to his parents.
