Spencer Sidewalk Program Extended

Spencer, IA (KICD)–The extension of the Spencer Sidewalk Repair program goes into effect on April 21st.

Under the program the city will pay the property owner for the concrete to put in a new sidewalk. Public Works Director Mark White says there is a new twist to the program this year.

Last year 192 applications were approved. Due to difficult construction season around 100 of those jobs still need to be finished.

Short application forms can be picked up at Spencer City Hall.
