Spencer, IA (KICD) — Two are injured in a two vehicle accident in West Spencer.

On Tuesday, afternoon, Spencer Police responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of W. 18th St and 38th Ave W. A 2005 Freightliner Tractor Trailer driven by Anthony Chuck of Mason City was westbound on W. 18th St. Chuck attempted to make a left turn onto 38th Ave W and did not yield to an oncoming eastbound 2007 Ford F-150 driven by Samuel Gray of Everly.

Gray was life flighted to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls with incapacitating injuries. A passenger in Gray’s vehicle was transported to the Spencer Hospital with minor injuries. Chuck was uninjured from the collision.

Chuck was cited for failure to yield upon making a left turn.
