Snowmobile Fatality

Brewster, MN (KICD) — A Heron Lake man was killed after being ejected from a snowmobile.
The Nobles County Sheriffs Office said early Sunday morning, 29-year old Dana Stenzel was snowmobiling north of Brewster, when he lost control of the snowmobile, causing it to roll, ejecting him from it.
Upon being ejected from the unit, Stenzel collided with a steel sign, causing several injuries.
Stenzel was transported to Sanford Worthington emergency room, where he was pronounced dead.  Also assisting at the scene was the Brewster Rescue.  The accident remains under investigation.
