Sheldon Arson Charges Filed

Sheldon, IA (KICD)–Arson charges have been filed following an 11-month long joint investigation by Sheldon Police and the Iowa State Fire Marshall’s Office.

36-year-olds Kristina Manasil and Adam Sickles of Sheldon have both been charged in connection to a May 14th fire last year which destroyed Buddz’s Sports Bar and Grill in Sheldon.  Both individuals were charged with two class B felony counts each of Arson in the First Degree.

Both defendants were taken into custody and transported to the O’Brien County Jail where bail has been set in the amount of $25,000.

First Degree Arson is  punishable by an indeterminate 25 year prison term
