Sibley, IA (KICD) — An Ashton man is arrested after getting a vehicle stuck in a drift.

On Sunday, an Osceola County Deputy arrested Christopher Renner, for allegedly Operating While Intoxicated 3rd offense, a class D felony. An investigation into a vehicle stuck in a snow drift in Ashton led to the charge.

Renner was also charged with Open Container and Failure to have a Valid Driver’s License. He was booked into the Osceola County Jail.

Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)–Two women sought their own medical treatment after a Thursday accident at the Emmetsburg Fareway parking lot.

Emmetsburg Police say Elizabeth Chapman of Emmetsburg backed out of a parking spot and into three other legally parked vehicles. A fifth vehicle was struck when the fourth vehicle was pushed into it.

Chapman and Sandra Lynch of Fenton both sought medical treatment on their own accord. No other injuries were reported.

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Storm Lake man is arrested after an assault incident.

On Sunday morning, Storm Lake Police arrested Cortez Degraffenried, after it was learned he had assaulted his girlfriend, hitting her in the face, causing injuries. He was found Sunday morning, and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury, and was booked into jail.
