Law Enforcement Reports

Spencer, IA (KICD)–Two from Spencer were seriously injured in a jeep versus motorcycle accident on Saturday afternoon.

Spencer Police were called to the intersection of West 11th Street and Grand Avenue shortly before 3:00 p.m.  16-year-old Nathan Bringle of Everly told Police he was stopped at the stop sign and went to cross Grand.  He stopped in the median and then collided with a motorcycle driven by 38-year-old Phillip Fuoss that he didn’t see.  Fuoss’ passenger, 36-year-old Tanya Barron, told Police another bike was in front of them and believed that Bringle saw the first bike and not them.

Fuoss was life flighted to Sioux Falls with incapacitating injuries.  Barron was taken to Spencer Hospital with incapacitating injuries.  Bringle was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

Spencer Ambulance took those injured to the hospital.

Lake Park, IA (KICD)–Three from Lake Park were recently arrested following a welfare check.

A Dickinson County Deputy could smell the odor of marijuana and was given permission to search the residence.  A jar containing 25 grams of marijuana and several pieces of drug paraphernalia was found.

42-year-old Becky Glienke, 32-year-old Benjamin Meyerdirk, and 30-year-old Jonathan Larson were each were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Lake Park Police and the Iowa DNR assisted.
