Laurens Drug Arrests

Pocahontas, IA (KICD) — A traffic stop results in felony drug charges against two from Laurens.

On Saturday evening, a Pocahontas County Deputy made a stop of 40-year old Bobby Cooper, for a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle found several indivually wrapped bags of methamphetamine, totalling over 5 grams. He was arrested on charges of Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a class B felony, Possession of Meth With Intent To Deliver and Possession of Meth, both class C felonies, along with Failure To Affix A Drig Tax Stamp, a class D felony, plus 3 other charges, and is being held in the Pocahontas County Jail on a $26,300 bond.

Also arrested was 45-year old Corey Reese, after methamphetamine was found in his home.. He was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, and was booked into the Pocahontas County Jail.
