Lakefield, MN (KICD) — Two people are injured as a semi collides with a pickup.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the Sunday afternoon accident happened 2 miles south of Lakefield. 26-year old Mitchell Ferguson of Heron Lake was driving a 1998 Kenworth semi south on Highway 86, when he struck a 1997 Dodge Dakota, driven by 81-year old Franklin Post of Chandler, Minnesota. Post had just exited Interstate 90 on the eastbound ramp, and after stopping, he pulled out in front of the semi.

Post and a passenger, 80-year old Arlene Post were both received non life threatening injuries, while Ferguson was not injured.
