Fatal Accident In Cherokee County

Cherokee, IA (KICD)–A Holstein man was killed in a Cherokee County accident on Monday.

The Sheriff’s Office says that Fred Lukins’ pickup was broadsided by a northbound dump truck driven by Timothy Rardin of Lake View at the intersection of Highways 59 and 31 just after 5:30 p.m.

Lukins, his passenger and Rardin were all taken to the Cherokee Hospital. Lukins died at the hospital and Rardin’s injuries were deemed incapacitating.

The accident remains under investigation.

Bono is a launching an all-star campaign featuring "once-in-a-lifetime experiences" like walking the red carpet with Meryl Streep or visiting the "Game of Thrones" set.
