College Scholarship Deadline Approaching

Spencer, IA (KICD)–The April 1st deadline to apply for college scholarships is rapidly approaching.

Iowa Lakes Community College Institutional Advancement Manager Tony Condon tells KICD News they offer over 150 scholarships that are all taken care of by one online application.

Condon gives a rundown of some of the information you should have handy before filling out a scholarship application.

For the 2013-2014 school year over $951,000 was awarded with an average award of nearly $2,400 per student. 77 percent of those who filled out an application received at least one scholarship.
