Clay County Fair Economic Impact Study

Clay County Fair Economic Impact Study

Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Clay County Fair Association can put a dollar figure on their economic impact to Clay County for the first time ever.

Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons tells KICD News that they worked with Markin consulting on the study.

Parsons says the numbers that came back were quite impressive.

In addition the Clay County Fair Association accounts for $1.6 million in wages and $87,500 in state and local tax revenue. These numbers do not take into account for area residents and those who come to the fair and leave the same day.
