Royal, IA (KICD)–The Clay Central Everly School Board gathered for their regular monthly meeting Tuesday night.
Superintendent Dennis McClain tells KICD News that the fiscal year 2013 audit was presented.

McClain says it is hard to get ahead with stagnant revenues, but the district is happy with how they have managed their expenses.  Bandwidth issues to support all of the laptop computers in the district was also addressed.

$15,000 will be taken out of the Capital Improvement fund to upgrade bandwidth in both the Everly and Royal buildings.
The board also voted to join the Rural School Advocates of Iowa.  The group hopes to have an advocate in place for the 2015 legislative session.
