Bacon App Rolled Out

Spencer, IA: (Mar. 06, 2014) – The Oscar Mayer Institute for the Advancement of Bacon is rolling out what may be the ultimate phone app.

The device, dubbed “Wake Up & Smell the Bacon,” syncs with an iPhone application to emit the smell and sound of sizzling bacon when it’s time to, well, wake up and smell the bacon.
Beginning TODAY bacon fans can apply for a chance to receive the free device through April 4th.

The device, which will not be sold in stores, also contains “amusing bacon sayings and ‘baconisms,’” according to a company statement.

Oscar Mayer is a division of Kraft Foods Group.
