ATV Thief Sentenced

Orange City, IA (KICD) — A South Dakota man is sentenced for an ATV theft.

In Sioux County District court Monday, 37-year old Thomas Dykshorn of Pierre was sentenced to 15 years in prison. This sentence will run concurrently with the sentence Dykshorn was already serving in the South Dakota prison system.

Dykshorn was charged with Theft in the Second Degree – Habitual Offender, a Class D Felony. In September 2009, an Artic Cat 4-wheeler was stolen from a business, and was found at a residence in Salem, South Dakota. Dykshorn admitted he had stolen it.
