Algona Motorcycle Wreck

Algona, IA (KICD) — A Minnesota man is injured after his motorcycle collides with a vehicle.

The Algona Police Department said the accident occurred Saturday morning, at the intersection of Main Street and Highway 18. 33-year old Joseph Crusoe of Grove City Minnesota was on a motorcycle, and was stopped waiting to make a left turn.

When he pulled out, he didn’t see a 2012 Chevy Colorado, driven by 62-year old Sherman Hilfiker of Emmetsburg. Hilfiker tried to avoid the collision but couldn’t. Crusoe was thrown from the motorcycle and was taken to Kossuth Regional Health Care for his injuries.

There were no charges filed in the accident.
