Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi perform with Prince William

Prince William channeled his inner musical talents by hitting the stage with Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift during a charity event on Tuesday.

The British royal hosted the Winter Whites Gala in Aid of Centrepoint at Kensington Palace to raise cash for homelessness.

Swift and the rocker were invited to perform at the star-studded event, and the Prince surprised guests by joining the singers on stage for a performance of Bon Jovi’s hit “Livin’ On A Prayer.”

Downton Abbey actress Michelle Dockery, Oscar winner Colin Firth, and James Blunt also attended the royal event, and Jon Bon Jovi was presented with the Centrepoint Great Britain Youth Inspiration Award for his humanitarian work.

Swift told reporters she was thrilled to be a part of the evening – her first royal engagement – and stunned by the gala’s winter wonderland theme, which included imported snow.

She said, “It is so incredibly exciting to be performing at Kensington Palace. With the snow, the lighting, the decorations, it’s all so Christmas-y. It’s kind of surreal, right? I’m at a palace! I’m just soaking it all in. It’s going to be a great night.”
