Opera star to perform national anthem at Super Bowl

Opera star Renee Fleming has been handed the honor of performing America’s national anthem before the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl showdown on Feb. 2.

The American football championships, which will take place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, will feature a halftime show by Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
