Obama, European leaders snap ‘selfie’ at Mandela memorial

President Barack Obama and the leaders of two European countries made headlines while attending the memorial for the late Nelson Mandela on Tuesday but it wasn’t for speeches.

At some point during the memorial for the South African president, who died Thursday at the age of 95, Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt posed for a snapshot with Obama and U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron. First Lady Michelle Obama doesn’t seem to be amused by the impromptu photo session.

Obama also made headlines for his speech at the ceremony, before which he shook hands with Cuban leader Raul Castro.

Obama wasn’t the only leader posing for funeral pictures; former President George W. Bush posted a picture of he and musician Bono on his Instagram account.
