Spencer Building Blaze

Spencer, IA (KICD)--A storage building that had a portion of it's roof cave in due to the snow earlier this winter catches fire in around noon today.

Spencer Fire Chief Doug Duncan says that the building was in the process of being taken down and he assumes they were using cut torches when they caught something on fire. There were some acetylene tanks inside.

The building is located one building west of Spencer Building Supply in the 500 block of West 7th Street.
